Retail expert Howard Davidowitz remains firm in his belief “the consumer is dead”. He tells Henry Blodget and Aaron Task that the downward trend is here to stay: “the retail business is terrible, it’s almost all negative”, says Davidowitz, “we’re going to close thousands, hundreds of thousands of stores”. With the U.S. debt projected to reach $9 trillion in the next decade, Davidowitz sees the country “in the tank forever and…out of control.” According to Davidowitz,” we are in a death spiral”. But, and there always seems to be a ‘but’ in this business, it’s not all gloom and doom. Davidowitz, thinks certain discount retailers, drug store chains, and a select few department stores can survive in the future. Most notably he likes Family Dollar Stores Inc. (NYSE:FDO), Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ:DLTR), Kohl’s Corp. (NYSE:KSS), CVS Caremark Corporation (NYSE:CVS), and Kroger Co. (NYSE:KR).
Who cares what that FAT PIG Davidowitz thinks or says. He's just another fat chump trying to make a household name for himself, full of a lot of hot air, and a basic dope. He says Obama is worst president who put this country into a hole, but yet, he conveniencly NEVER mentions anything about what went on in this country over the past two Administrations, i.e. BUSH/CHENEY who put this country into the postion that it's in NOW, one that Obama had to take on because of this blunders.
