In a heated exchange that lasted almost 15 minutes, Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), and Betsy McCaughey sparred over medicare cuts, the public option, and health care spending. Throughout the interview, hosted by MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan, McCaughey kept complaining she was being shut out of the debate. At one point during the interview she calls Rep.Weiner “ignorant about health insurance,” and insists to Ratigan that “this will go down in history as one of the most browbeating interviews in television history.”
Ratigan’s response: I hope that it does, and maybe you’ll learn to go on television to answer questions as opposed to casting accusations.
