Daria Taglioni

Daria Taglioni received her BA in Economics at the University La Sapienza, Rome, her M.Sc. in Economics at the College of Europe, Bruges, and her Ph.D. in International Economics at the Graduate Institute, Geneva.

She was an economist in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development before moving to the European Central Bank.

Her recent work has been very much focused on modeling and estimating cross-country competitiveness and trade developments using model-based quantitative investigations. Other research interests include the microeconomics of international trade and multinational activity, the links between financial and monetary uncertainty and trade, trade in the services sector and the impacts of globalisation.
