Jabil Circuit Inc. (JBL) is scheduled to release Q116 earnings after the close today. The Street is looking for EPS of $0.80 and revenue of $5.22 billion. Last quarter, the company posted a positive earnings surprise of 17.78%, reporting EPS of $0.53, $0.08 better than the Street’s consensus estimate of $0.45. Revs however, increased 15.27% year-over-year to $4.68 billion versus the $4.06 billion reported. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.84 per share.
Wall Street analysts are on average expecting Oracle Corporation (ORCL) to post $9.07 billion in sales during the quarter. This would show a 7.34% increase from the Q116 revenue of $8.45 billion and an decrease of 5.62% from the same period in Q215. EPS in Q216 are expected to come in at $0.60, a decline rate of 13.04% from $0.69 per share a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.61 per share.

Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (PIR) is scheduled to report Q316 results after the market close today. The Street has consensus estimates of $0.12 in earnings per share and $492.82 million in revenue. In the Q3 of the previous year, Fort Worth Texas-based retailer posted $0.20 in EPS and $484.5 million in revenue. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.12 per share.
As a quick reminder, PIR reported Q216 EPS of $0.04, $0.03 lower than the Street’s consensus estimate of $0.07. Revs increased 2.72% on a year-over-year basis to $430 million versus the $435.38 million consensus.
