VMware, Inc. (VMW) is set to announce its Q315 earnings tonight after the close with a conference call scheduled for 17:00 p.m. ET. Analysts expect the virtualization infrastructure solutions provider to report EPS of $0.99 and revenue of $1.66 billion. That would be $0.06 higher the $0.93 per share posted last quarter and $0.12 higher the $0.87 posted in the Q314. Revenue is projected to be $140 million higher than the $1.52 billion posted in the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $1.02 per share. The company is also expected to guide for the 4Q where consensus stands at $1.23 for EPS and $1.87 billion in revenue.

As a quick reminder, VMware reported Q215 EPS of $0.93, $0.02 better than the Street’s consensus estimate of $0.91. Revenue increased 4.11% year-over-year to $1.52 billion vs. the $1.59 billion consensus.

Shares of Palo Alto, Calif.-based company are down 22.53% year-over-year and 16.12% year-to-date.
