Retail Sales Top Expectations

The US Census Bureau announced today that sales at U.S. retailers rose more than expected in October to post their largest gain in seven months. The advance estimates of U.S. retail and food services sales for October were $373.1 billion, an increase of 1.2% from the previous month, and 7.3% above October 2009.
