Fed’s Bullard Says He Would Back Fed Purchases of Treasury Securities in $100B Increments

St. Louis Fed President James Bullard said on Thursday he would back Federal Reserve purchases of Treasury securities in $100 bln increments meeting-by-meeting if the central bank decides monetary easing is necessary, but stressed no decision has been made.  “No decisions have been made and no decisions will be made until we get to the November meeting,” Bullard told reporters. – Reuters
