eBay (EBAY) Late-Traded Shares Rise On Co.’s Q3 Guidance

Global e-commerce and online payments leader eBay Inc. (EBAY) announced this afternoon that Lorrie Norrington, president of eBay Marketplaces, the co.’s biggest division, was leaving for “personal family reasons.” The company said that the Marketplaces team will report to CEO John Donahoe.

Ebay also announced it now sees Q3 EPS guidance near the high end of previous guidance, which called for revenue of $2.13 billion to $2.18 billion, and non-GAAP profits of $0.35-$0.37 cents a share vs $0.37 p/sh Thomson Reuters (TRI) consensus.

EBAY is up 24 cents, or 1.53%, to $24.87 in extended trading.
