Notable Upgrades: PayPal (PYPL), Yahoo (YHOO), Quality Systems (QSII), O’Reilly Automotive (ORLY)

Analysts at Monness Crespi & Hardt are out with a report this morning upgrading shares of PayPal Holdings, Inc. (PYPL) with a ‘Neutral’ from ‘Sell’ rating.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of San Jose, California-based company have traded between a low of $30.00 and a high of $42.55 and are now at $31.70.

Shares are down 12.46% since the beginning of the year.

Analysts at Pivotal Research Group upgraded their rating on the shares of Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO). In a research note published on Monday, the firm lifted the name with a ‘Buy’ from ‘Hold’ rating, but set a 12-month base case estimate of $36 from $37 per share.

On valuation measures, Yahoo! Inc. shares are currently priced at 119.36x this year’s forecasted earnings. Ticker has a PEG and forward P/E ratio of (1.42) and 51.64, respectively. Price/Sales for the same period is 5.68 while EPS is $0.25. Currently there are 18 analysts that rate YHOO a ‘Buy’, 19 rate it a ‘Hold’. No analyst rates it a ‘Sell’.

YHOO has a median Wall Street price target of $41.50 with a high target of $51.00.

Quality Systems Inc. (QSII) was raised to ‘Overweight’ from ‘Neutral’ at Piper Jaffray on Monday.

QSII is up $0.93 at $16.88 on normal volume. Midway through trading Monday, 436K shares of Quality Systems have exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 579K shares. The stock has ranged in a price between $16.37 to $16.95 after opening the day at $15.73.

O’Reilly Automotive Inc. (ORLY) was upgraded to ‘Buy’ from ‘Hold’ by Deutsche Bank (DB) analysts on Monday.

ORLY began trading this morning at $243.68 to currently trade 2.56% higher from the prior days close of $236.71. On an intraday basis it has gotten as low as $240.39 and as high as $246.63.

O’Reilly Automotive Inc. shares are priced at 28.12x this year’s forecasted earnings, compared to the industry’s 6.39x earnings multiple. The company’s current year and next year EPS growth estimates stand at 24.00% and 14.00%, compared to the industry growth rates of 5.40% and 18.20%, respectively. ORLY has a t-12 price-to-sales ratio of 3.00. EPS for the same period registers at $8.73.

ORLY shares have declined 5.63% in the last 4 weeks and 5.43% in the past three months. Over the past 5 trading sessions the stock has gained 1.46%.

The Springfield, Missouri-based company, currently valued at $24.22 billion, has a median Street price target of $295 with a high target of $325.

O’Reilly Automotive Inc. is up 26.47% year-over-year, compared with a 7.30% loss in the S&P 500.
