Andreas Hoffmann is a doctoral candidate at the University of Leipzig where he studied economics and business. During his studies he spent a semester at the Bosporus University in Istanbul. Since 2007 he has been a research assistant at the Institute for Economic Policy. His doctoral research deals with over-investment in central and eastern Europe. He holds a scholarship from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
