Obama Names John Bryson to lead Commerce Department

AP reports that President Obama will nominate businessman John Bryson to lead the Commerce Department. Bryson is a former chairman and CEO of Edison Int’l, a California-based energy company. Bryson would replace outgoing Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, whom Obama recently named as his next ambassador to China.
