Treasury Says Not Raising Debt Ceiling May Be ‘Catastrophic’

The U.S. Deputy Treasury Secretary, Neal Wolin, pointed out Friday there was no option to Congress increasing the government’s debt ceiling. To not do that “would be to leave us with catastrophic results,” Tim Geithner’s second-in-command told CNBC.
