FBN’s Charlie Gasparino reports that a decision by NASDAQ (NDAQ) on whether to mount a hostile bid for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) “is imminent.” Gasparino reports sources are telling him the “decision could come as early as today.” Excerpt from the report, courtesy of Fox Business Network.
On whether NASDAQ will make a hostile bid for the NYSE:
“Sources tell the FOX Business Network that a decision on whether to mount a hostile bid is imminent. This decision could come as early as today. A lot of these announcements are made on a Friday after the close. As of last night we know the NASDAQ and ICE were still talking about a joint hostile bid for the New York Stock Exchange. They are not talking to us; we have been putting in calls since last night.”
