AFOP Sets New 52-Week Highs

Alliance Fiber Optic Products Inc. (AFOP) rallied 12.93 percent to $15.56 and surged to a new 52-wk high of $15.85 earlier, the highest intraday price since December 17. There is no news in the name.

AFOP currently trades above its 50-day MA of $11.76 and above its 200-day MA of $8.80. Shares are seeing huge volume; mid-way through the session the equity has already traded 250,000 shares, well above the daily average volume of 73.000 shares.

The day’s trading range for shares of AFOP has been between $14.19 and a 52-week high of $15.85 per share.

At last check, Alliance Fiber Optic Inc’s shares were up $1.83, or 13.29%, to $15.60. Alliance’s stock opened at $14.20 on Friday.
