U.S. Jobless Claims Hit a Four-Month Low

Initial claims for U.S. jobless benefits hit a four-month low last week. The number of workers filing initial claims for unemployment benefits fell to a seasonally adjusted 435,000 in the week to Nov. 6, a decrease of 24,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 459,000, the DOL said on Wednesday.
