Germany Posts Surprise July Export Slump

Data on Wednesday from the German Federal Statistics Office showed July exports fell by 1.5 percent from June after two months of strong gains, while imports slumped by 2.2 percent. Analysts had forecast that the figures would show no change in July for Europe’s biggest economy. – Reuters
