U.S. Unemployment Claims Decrease 6000 to 472,000

The number of people applying for unemployment fell by 6,000 to 472,000 in the week ended Aug. 28, government data showed Thursday. The 4-week moving average was 485,500, a decrease of 2,500 from the previous week’s revised average of 488,000.
