DOJ: Allergan Agrees to Plead Guilty and Pay $600 mln to Resolve Federal Probe

Allergan Inc. (AGN) has agreed to plead guilty and pay $600 million to resolve a federal probe “arising from the company’s unlawful promotion of its biological product, Botox® Therapeutic, for uses not approved as safe and effective by the Food and Drug Administration , the Justice Department announced today.
