U.S. Savings Rate in June Rose to the Highest Level In A Year

The savings rate among U.S. households rose to the highest level in a year in June, the Commerce Department estimated Tuesday. According to the data, the personal savings rate rose to 6.4% in June, the highest level in a year. The rate in May was revised to 6.3% from the previous estimate of 4%.
