Tiger Woods is expected to return to golf during the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Ga., next month, ending a nearly five-month hiatus brought on by a spiraling sex scandal and numerous allegations of marital infidelity that decimated his image as the gold standard in sports.
“The Masters is where I won my first major, and I view this tournament with great respect. After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta,” Woods said in a statement.
The Masters begins April 8. Needless to say, the ratings are expected to be off the chart.
