There’s been a lot of talk lately that Larry Summers and Tim Geithner are on their way out. I’ve previously said that I don’t see it and have no reason to change my mind. But I am starting to think that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is on his way out. It’s nothing specific, just a confluence of commentary that makes me think so. I can easily see Rahm leaving to run for mayor of Chicago. Whether Obama insider Valerie Jarrett replaces him is too soon to say.
