Treasury’s $32B 7-Year Auction Closes at 3.345% Yield

  • In its last bond sale for fiscal 2009, the Treasury Dept. sold $32 billion in 7-year notes on Wednesday at a yield of 3.345%.
  • Bid To Cover ratio came in at 2.72 x the amount of debt sold, compared to an average of 2.74 times at the last four sales.
  • Indirects bought 44.7% of the sale vs. an average of 61.2% of the last four sales.
  • Alloted at High 55.69%
