Broadcom Limited (AVGO) is set to announce its Q216 earnings after the market close on Thursday, June 2. Analysts expect the semiconductor company to report earnings per share of $2.38 and revenue of $3.55 billion. That would be $0.03 lower the $2.41 per share posted last quarter and $0.25 higher the $2.13 posted in the Q215. Revenue is projected to be $1.94 billion higher than the $1.61 billion posted in the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $2.45 per share.
As a quick reminder, AVGO reported Q116 EPS of $2.41, $0.11 better than the Street’s consensus estimate of $2.30. Revs increased 6.63% year-over-year to $1.77 billion versus the $1.75 billion consensus.
Ambarella, Inc. (AMBA) is scheduled to release Q117 earnings after the close today. The Street is looking for EPS of $0.28 and revenue of $57.01 million. Last quarter, the company posted a significant positive earnings surprise of 33.33%, reporting EPS of $0.64, $0.16 better than the Street’s consensus estimate of $0.48. Revs increased 5.10% year-over-year to $68 million versus the $64.7 million reported. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.29 per share.
Wall Street analysts are on average expecting Five Below, Inc. (FIVE) to post $188.01 million in sales during the quarter. This would show a 42.40% decrease from the Q415 revenue of $326.4 million and an increase of 22.32% from the same period in Q115. EPS in Q116 are expected to come in at $0.10, a growth rate of 25% from $0.08 per share a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.11 per share.
As a quick reminder, FIVE reported Q415 EPS of $0.77, $0.01 better than the Street’s consensus estimate. Revs increased 23.73% yoy to $326.4 million versus the $323.74 million consensus.
