Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) is set to announce its Q116 earnings after the market close today. Analysts expect the provider of Internet search services in China and internationally to report earnings per share of $6.24 and revenue of $15.76 billion. That would be $5.06 higher the $1.18 per share posted last quarter and $5.02 higher the $1.22 posted in the Q115. Revenue is projected to be $13.71 billion higher than the $2.05 billion posted in the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.80 per share. As a quick reminder, BIDU reported Q415 EPS of $1.18, $0.01 lower than the Street’s consensus estimate of $1.19.
Wall Street analysts are on average expecting Gilead Sciences Inc. (GILD) to post $8.08 billion in sales during the quarter. This would show a 5.05% decrease from the Q415 revenue of $8.51 billion and an increase of 6.46% from the same period in Q115. EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $3.21 per share.
As a quick reminder, GILD reported Q415 EPS of $3.32, $0.32 better than the Street’s consensus estimate.
Skyworks Solutions Inc. (SWKS) is scheduled to release Q216 earnings after the close today. The Street is looking for EPS of $1.24 and revenue of $775.39 million. Last quarter, the company reported EPS of $1.60, $0.02 better than the Street’s consensus estimate of $1.58. Revs increased 15.06% year-over-year to $926.8 million versus the $805.5 million reported. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $1.25 per share.
