Notable Upgrades: Nasdaq, Inc. (NDAQ), Apple (AAPL), Mellanox Technologies (MLNX), American Eagle Outfitters (AEO)

Analysts at Goldman Sachs (GS) are out with a report this morning upgrading shares of Nasdaq, Inc. (NDAQ) with a ‘Neutral’ from ‘Sell’ rating.

On valuation measures, Nasdaq Inc. shares are currently priced at 26.52x this year’s forecasted earnings, compared to the industry’s 15.74x earnings multiple. Ticker has a forward P/E of 15.24 and t-12 price-to-sales ratio of 2.65. EPS for the same period is $2.13.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of the New York-based trading exchange have traded between a low of $44.82 and a high of $60.11 and are now at $56.48.

Shares are up 15.86% year-over-year.

Analysts at Mizuho upgraded their rating on the shares of Apple Inc. (AAPL). In a research note published on Monday, the firm lifted the name with a ‘Buy’ from ‘Neutral’ rating. The firm however set a 12-month base case estimate of $120 from $125 per share.

On valuation measures, Apple Inc. shares are currently priced at 10.61x this year’s forecasted earnings, compared to the industry’s 8.37x earnings multiple. Ticker has a PEG and forward P/E ratio of 0.75 and 9.26, respectively. Price/Sales for the same period is 2.31, while EPS is $9.22.

Currently there are 37 analysts that rate AAPL a ‘Buy’, 8 rate it a ‘Hold’. One analyst rates it a ‘Sell’.

AAPL has a median Wall Street price target of $145 with a high target of $200.

Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (MLNX) was raised to ‘Outperform’ from ‘Neutral’ at Credit Suisse (CS) on Monday.

MLNX is up $1.74 at $40.41 on strong volume. Midway through trading Monday, 390K shares of Mellanox Technologies Ltd. have exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 398K shares. The stock has ranged in a price between $39.59 to $40.69 after having opened the day at $40.41.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of Yokneam, Israel-based company have traded between a low of $32.24 and a high of $52.77.

Shares are down 14.37% on a year-over-year basis.

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO) was reiterated an ‘Outperform’ by Wolfe Research analysts on Monday. The broker also raised its price target on the stock to $22 from $20.

AEO is currently printing a higher than average trading volume with the issue trading 8.64 million shares, compared to the average volume of 5.76 million. The stock began trading this morning at $13.24 to currently trade flat from the prior days close of $13.24. On an intraday basis it has gotten as low as $13.14 and as high as $13.41.
