Earnings Whisper: Guess’ Inc. (GES), HP Inc. (HPQ), TiVo Inc. (TIVO)

Guess’ Inc. (GES) is set to announce its Q316 earnings after the market close on Tuesday, November 24. Analysts expect the co. to report earnings per share of $0.11 and revenue of $521.68 million. That would be $0.1 lower the $0.21 per share posted last quarter and $0.13 lower the $0.24 posted in the Q315. Revenue is projected to be $36.22 million lower than the $557.9 million posted in the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.14 per share.

As a quick reminder, GES reported Q216 EPS of $0.21, $0.06 better than the Street’s consensus estimate of $0.15. Revs decreased 10.24% year-over-year to $546.3 million versus the $537.61 million consensus.

Wall Street analysts are on average expecting HP Inc. (HPQ) to post earnings per share of $0.45 and $12.86 billion in sales during the quarter. This would show a 49.17% decrease from the Q315 revenue of $25.3 billion and an decrease of 54.72% from the same period in Q414. EPS in Q415 are expected to come in at $0.97, a decline rate of 8.49% from $1.06 per share a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.45 per share.

As a quick reminder, HPQ reported Q315 EPS of $0.88, $0.03 better than the Street’s consensus estimate. Revs decreased 8.33% yoy to $25.3 billion versus the $25.44 billion consensus.

TiVo Inc. (TIVO) is scheduled to report Q316 results after the market close today. The Street has consensus estimates of $0.08 in earnings per share and $101.18 million in revenue. In the Q3 of the previous year, San Jose California-based provider of television software services and cloud-based software-as-a-service solutions that enable to view video content through various screens posted $0.06 in EPS and $118.4 million in revenue. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.09 per share.

As a quick reminder, TIVO reported Q216 EPS of $0.09. Revs decreased 11.44% on a year-over-year basis to $99.1 million versus the $95.97 million consensus.
