Facebook (FB) Just Hit a New All-time High

Shares of Facebook, Inc. (FB) hit a new all-time high on Tuesday, printing the tape at $87.49. That’s a 40.64% rise, or $25.28 per share from the 52-week low of $62.21 set in July 8, 2014.

The stock closed at $84.74 at the end of Monday’s trading session, printing a one-year return of 31.38% and year-to-date return of around 9%.

FB is trading at unusually high volume Tuesday with 29.2 million shares changing hands, well ahead of its three month daily average of 23 million shares. The stock is currently trading up 2.81% at $87.12 as of 12:45 p.m. ET.
