Global Asset Class Performance Chart (Nov 2- Nov 6)

Here is last week’s performance of different major global financial markets:

Gold, currently the most actively monitored commodity, is this week’s most preferred investment and the subsequent asset class leader. As the chart above illustrates, the precious metal, which is again being viewed as a safe haven, dominated the performance spectrum convincingly with the safe money flowing in its direction. Compared to returns across asset classes, gold topped this weeks’ list, returning 5.3%, followed by Naz, Dow Jones, S&P 500, and R2K, 3.3%, 3.2%, 3.2%, and 3.1%, respectively.

US investment bonds, commodity futs, EMs, the greenback and junk bonds, posted negative returns.
