Shares of Valeant Pharmaceuticals Int’l, Inc. (VRX) are higher by nearly 6 percent to $99.56 in pre-market trading on Tuesday after the embattled drugmaker announced a 20-year fulfillment agreement with Walgreens (WBA) under which it will offer 30+ drugs at generic prices.
Valeant said the agreement will enable consumers to conveniently access Valeant’s dermatology and ophthalmology products at a lower out-of-pocket cost from more than 8,000 Walgreens U.S. retail pharmacy locations, as well as participating independent retailers.
The 20-year agreement takes effect the first quarter of 2016.

Shares of Nvidia Corporation (NVDA) are up 3.38% this morning on news the company was unsuccessful in its appeal before the International Trade Commission in a patent case against Samsung Electronics and Qualcomm Inc (QCOM).
Nvidia had accused both companies of using its patents on graphics chip technology without permission or compensation.

Shares of Kitov Pharmaceuticals Holdings LTD (KTOV) are up 45 percent in pre-market hours following the company’s announcement that the Phase III clinical trial for KIT-302 successfully met the primary efficacy endpoint of the trial protocol as approved by the FDA.

Lumber Liquidators Holdings, Inc. (LL) spikes 27% to $17.84 in pre-market trade after short-seller Whitney Tilson announced in an article written in SeekingAlpha.com he has covered his short. Tilson had said LL would likely go to zero.
