Microsoft (MSFT) has just announced on Thursday in the new Surface Blog that the Surface Pro 3 tablet would go on sale in 25 additional markets on August 28th. Having been well received thus far in the U.S., Canada and Japan, Redmond has decided to expand its incredibly thin device, which has Windows 8, runs on an Intel Core i5 processor for running serious apps, and it is so thin that it makes smartphones feel thick by comparison, in the following new markets where customers seem eager to get their hands on Microsoft’s latest creation.
•Australia
•Austria
•Belgium
•China
•Denmark
•Finland
•France
•Germany
•Hong Kong
•Ireland
•Italy
•Korea
•Luxembourg
•Malaysia
•the Netherlands
•New Zealand
•Norway
•Portugal
•Singapore
•Spain
•Sweden
•Switzerland
•Taiwan
•Thailand
•the United Kingdom
The expansion could increase shipments of Surface tablets, which have so far sold below expectations, according to analysts.
