Simon Dietz is at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he is Deputy Director of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, and Lecturer in Environmental Policy in the Department of Geography and Environment. He has studied at the University of East Anglia, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zürich and LSE, receiving his PhD in environmental economics from the LSE in 2006. In 2005/6 he worked at the UK Treasury, as an analyst on the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change, and since returning to the LSE he has authored numerous articles on climate-change and environmental economics. He is also the co-editor of the Handbook of Sustainable Development (Edward Elgar, 2007).
