General Electric Company (GE) is scheduled to release its fiscal 2015 third-quarter earnings results before the markets open on Friday. Analysts expect the operator of infrastructure and financial services to report EPS of $0.26 and revenue of $28.57 billion. That would be $0.05 lower the $0.31 per share posted last quarter, and $0.12 lower the $0.38 posted in the Q314. Revenue is projected to be $7.63 billion lower than the $36.2 billion posted in the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.27 per share.
As a quick reminder, GE reported Q215 EPS of $0.31, $0.03 better than the Street’s consensus estimate of $0.28. Revs decreased 9.39% year-over-year to $32.8 billion vs. the $28.7 billion consensus.
GE shares recently gained $0.42 to $28.02. The stock is up 18.71% year-over-year and has gained roughly 12.16% year-to-date. In the past 52 weeks, shares of Fairfield, Connecticut-based company have traded between a low of $19.37 and a high of $28.68.
GE closed Wednesday at $27.60. The name has a current market cap of $282.90 billion.
