Moving Stocks: Amyris (AMRS), NeuroDerm (NDRM), Voltari Corp (VLTC), Mellanox Technologies (MLNX)

Shares of Amyris Inc (AMRS) are jumping by 21.23% to $2.17 at the start of trading on Thursday morning, after the industrial bioscience firm announced a new multi-year collaboration agreement with a global food ingredients supplier. This agreement marks Amyris’s first collaboration in the growing food ingredients sector.

Amyris did not disclose details of the collaboration, but said the agreement includes a “long-term value share provision in regard to future end-market product sales by the partner.”

Shares of NeuroDerm Ltd. (NDRM) were gaining 9% to $18.86 on heavy trading volume Thursday after the clinical stage pharmaceutical company announced the pricing of its public offering of 3.9 million ordinary share at $17.00/share. The move comes on a massive volume too with the issue trading more than 2.4 million shares, compared to the average volume of 99K.

Shares of Voltari Corp (VLTC) are up 36.57% to $7.83 following a Benzinga report saying Carl Icahn has not sold any shares of his VLTC position. Icahn’s last reported a 52.3% stake in Voltari on March 31.

Shares of Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (MLNX) surged 7.66% to $47.52 in recent trade after some positive Stifel commentary. The broker said it expects the fabless semiconductor firm next Wednesday to deliver its fourth sequential beat driven by multiple new product introductions, and raise quarterly earnings report.

Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. closed Wednesday at $44.14. The name has a current market cap of $2.18 billion.
