Had Buffett Known How to Check His Voicemail, Lehman Could Still Be in Business Today

We know for certain only two things about billionaire Warren Buffett ; he descends from the Benjamin Graham school of value investing, and that he’s not so big on technology.

According to Bloomberg, Buffett was approached a year ago about backing  Lehman Brothers’s (OTC:LEHMQ) assets before the investment bank filed for bankruptcy, and didn’t receive financial documents he requested.

Buffett said he didn’t receive Lehman’s information that he requested be sent to him by facsimile and later learned that there was “a voice mail that he missed because he didn’t know how to retrieve it.”

New York-based Lehman filed for bankruptcy a year ago.

Buffett made the comments at a conference in Carlsbad, California.
