On the NYSE-Deutsche Boerse merger:
“The regulators have indicated they are not going to get approved for this deal, so as of now, this deal is not happening. They’re going to have to go back and lobby. Inside the NYSE, they know the regulators are going to nix this thing. The regulators are officially saying no. We hear there’s no document that has been given and I think it’s about as official as you’re going to get from the regulators.”
