Two people are confirmed dead and 16 injured, including three seriously, after a large explosion ripped through a Foxconn high-tech plant that manufactures Apple’s (AAPL) iPad tablet, reported the WSJ, citing a statement from China’s Chengdu Municipal government.
The company said it is cooperating with the government which appeared to rule out criminal involvement, saying the explosion didn’t have a human factor.
