Nasdaq OMX Inc. Chief Executive Robert Greifeld is determined to mount a counterbid for NYSE Euronext, WSJ reports. The market is expecting a new offer. NYSE shares traded Tuesday at around $35.85 a share, above the $35 per-share offer from Germany’s Deutsche Börse AG. Nasdaq shares dropped by 1.7% Tuesday, and are now trading just below $26 each.
