U.S. factory goods orders unexpectedly rose in November, giving another indication of solid momentum in manufacturing amid a growing economy. Orders for manufactured goods rose 0.7% to $423.85 billion from the prior month, the Commerce Department said Tuesday. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires had forecast a 0.1% decline in November factory goods. – WSJ
