Consumer prices in the OECD area rose by 1.7% in the year to September 2010, up from 1.6% in August. This small pick-up in inflation mainly reflects higher food and energy prices, which increased by 2.3% and 5.2% respectively in September, compared with 1.4% and 4.8% in August. – OECD
