Durable-Goods Orders Rise a Disappointing 0.3% In July

Demand for long-lasting U.S. manufactured goods increased less than expected in July. Durable-goods orders rose 0.3% to a seasonally adjusted $193.02 billion, the Commerce Department said Wednesday. The market was looking for growth of 3.0%.
