The U.S. economy’s outlook has weakened and core inflation is lower, but both are in manageable situations, according to Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard, who warned Thursday against the Federal Reserve rushing into more monetary stimulus. Bullard suggested that the modest moves the Fed made last week in that direction are enough for now. – WSJ
