The U.S. Census Bureau announced today that advance estimates of U.S. retail and food services sales for June, were $360.2 billion, a decrease of 0.5 percent from the previous month, but 4.8 percent above June 2009. U.S. retail sales fell for a second straight month raising worries about the pace of consumer spending heading into the 2Q’10.
