The U.S. economy is strengthening but there’s still much to be done to put Americans back to work, President Barack Obama said Tuesday after meeting Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke at the White House. Obama said he and Bernanke agreed the U.S. is “into recovery” and that there are headwinds and skittishness in the markets now to work through. MW
