So people are willing to watch oil wash up on shore, into the marshes, and be carried hundreds and thousands of miles down current, destroying the environment, destroying industries and livelihoods, yet they are repelled at the thought of a contained underground nuclear explosion?

Why would we not do this FIRST? Are there financial incentives for certain companies NOT to? Hmmm… certainly things to ponder.
