Microsoft Settles Patent Dispute with VirnetX for $200M

Microsoft (MSFT) settled a patent dispute with secure real-time communications firm VirnetX for $200 million on Monday, settling a multi-year patent dispute with the firm over technology found in some of Microsoft’s Office products. As part of the settlement, Microsoft will pay VirnetX $200 million for a license and settlement of all disputes with VirnetX Holding (VHC) –  FBN
