SETimes reports that Romania is bracing again for another wave of protests after the government unveiled austerity cuts in wages and pensions to meet a deficit target set by the IMF and avoid a Greek debt crisis scenario. Romania’s five biggest labour unions announced today they are planning four days of protests outside the government and presidential building in Bucharest against what the unions describe as “unacceptable measures” hammered out by the government and the IMF.
