In prepared testimony before a Senate committee on Tuesday, Fabrice Tourre, the only Goldman official directly accused in the SEC fraud suit against the investment bank, said he “did not mislead” investors.
“I deny—categorically—the SEC’s allegation,” Tourre said. “And I will defend myself in court against this false claim.”
