“What we hear is, as you know, she’s one of the central figures in the financial crisis, was at Lehman when it was imploding, left for Credit Suisse… she is now out of the securities business as of December 31st she has resigned.  The speculation is wide, and from what we understand, it’s these investigations.  She’s one of the central figures in a federal investigation into the collapse of Lehman.”

“She went to Credit Suisse and then she went on a lengthy leave of absence.  It was pretty bizarre—she was gone from the scene, until, from what I understand—I checked yesterday—December 31st she’s officially out of there.”

  1. Erin Callan may be an intended patsy in an otherwise very exclusive boys club. She had nowhere near the time and tenure to have much, if any, culpability for Lehman Mpnday. She inherited much if not all of it, by simple timeline. The notion that the so-called “Gorilla” would allow her to go off and get LBWH hurt to fatality is pure nonsense. I imagine only that she was deeply involved with CDS’s but she didn’t hatch that abortion, that happened at JP Morgan in 1995. I bet if you could ask her and be trusted enough to get a straight answer, this whole experience is aptly described by her as horrific. I do not buy into her demonization one bit. I wish her well.
