Shares of Amazon.com (AMZN) are up slightly this morning on news its Fire tablet is now available in China. The company also announced an agreement with Baidu Inc. (BIDU) to provide search, apps and online video services for Fire tablets in China. Amazon’s sales of its 7-inch tablet tripled over the Thanksgiving weekend from last year, the company said on Tuesday.

Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) – The Wall Street Journal reports that several potential suitors are emerging for Yahoo’s core internet business, including Verizon Communications (VZ) and Barry Diller’s IAC/InterActive Corp. (IACI).

Dyax Corp. (DYAX) shares surged 11.95% to $37.35 in early trading after the biotech announced that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended applicable to its $6.50 billion proposed acquisition by Shire PLC (SHPG) Pharmaceuticals Int’l, was terminated by the United States FTC on December 2, 2015.
