Applied Materials, Inc. (AMAT) is set to announce its Q415 earnings after the market close today. Analysts expect the co. to report earnings per share of $0.29 and revenue of $2.4 billion. That would be $0.04 lower the $0.33 per share posted last quarter and $0.02 higher the $0.27 posted in the Q414. Revenue is projected to be $140 million higher than the $2.26 billion posted in the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.29 per share.
As a quick reminder, AMAT reported Q315 EPS of $0.33. Revs increased 9.69% year-over-year to $2.49 billion versus the $2.54 billion consensus.
All eyes will be on Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) after today’s close. Wall Street analysts are on average expecting CSCO to post $12.65 billion in sales during the quarter. This would show a 1.17% decrease from the Q415 revenue of $12.8 billion and an increase of 3.69% from the same period in Q115. EPS in Q116 are expected to come in at $0.56, a growth rate of 3.70% from $0.54 per share a year earlier. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.58 per share.
As a quick reminder, CSCO reported Q415 EPS of $0.59, $0.03 better than the Street’s consensus estimate. Revs increased 3.23% yoy to $12.8 billion versus the $12.65 billion consensus.
Fossil Group, Inc. (FOSL) is scheduled to release Q315 earnings after the close today. The Street is looking for EPS of $1.13 and revenue of $793.72 million. Last quarter, the company posted a significant positive earnings surprise of 36.59%, reporting EPS of $1.12, $0.30 better than the Street’s consensus estimate of $0.82. Revs however, fell 4.37% year-over-year to $740 million versus the $773.8 million reported. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $1.19 per share.
Nordstrom Inc. (JWN) is scheduled to report Q315 results after the market close today. The Street has consensus estimates of $0.72 in earnings per share and $3.37 billion in revenue. In the Q3 of the previous year, Seattle Washington-based fashion specialty retailer posted $0.73 in EPS and $3.14 billion in revenue. Meanwhile, EarningsWhisper.com reports a whisper number of $0.75 per share.
As a quick reminder, JWN reported Q215 EPS of $1.09, $0.19 better than the Street’s consensus estimate of $0.90. Revs increased 9.09% on a year-over-year basis to $3.6 billion versus the $3.67 billion consensus.
